Paul and I spent the weekend in Portland with our families. Today we took a little trip to the pumpkin patch. It was very fun. It had all of my favorite things: doughnuts, goats, piglets, chickens, and funny looking vegetables. While it was a very good day, and I finally got to enjoy some cooler overcast weather, I think I am coming down with a cold. In addition, I broke my camera lens today. I think I got some cinnamon sugar from the doughnuts stuck in the lens and now the camera won't start. I'm going to take it in tomorrow though, so hopefully everything is alright. This means I didn't get any pictures of the adorable piglets, but you'll have to trust me that they were pretty darn cute.
I loved all of the kitschy farm things they had all over. They had several of the face-in-a-hole stations. They had ridiculous hale bales painted like crazy faced pumpkins. I had a grand time.
I like warty pumpkins. And I like gourds that look like phones.
I like picking up pumpkins to show off my muscles. I like when Paul makes his fancy face.
I also like baby chicks. Baby chicks are ridiculous. Baby chicks are the best. In these pictures you can see the cinnamon sugar all over my fingers that
destroyed temporarily disabled my camera.
Also, you can't beat goats. In eighth grade when I was wildly obsessed with goats (although it would be a lie if I were to say I wasn't still wildly obsessed with goats) I decided that the I would name first goat I ever get Arugula. That's still my plan.
Now Paul and I are back in Eugene, back to doing homework, but not doing too shabby. I would love a working camera and I would love for this cold to go away, but those things might have to wait until tomorrow.
